Here in Virginia (as it seems like it's been on the whole East Coast), the weather has been a little spastic this spring. One day it's 60 degrees and the next, it's 30 and snowing.
So I created an outfit that uses one of my favorite Spring-Summer pieces: The long black skirt.
I included a tall boot for those 30 degree days and a slide for the 60 degree days.
Once again, I created this on Polyvore. If you want to see the whole set, click here.
The cowl-neck sweater is a recent purchase from Venus. Yes, Venus, the swimsuit store. Except, it sells A LOT more than just swimsuits now. They have a fantastic clearance section, which is where I mostly shop online.
The boots were bought from KMart several years ago.
The tiered skirt was bought from Chadwicks.
I love to buy key pieces and keep them until "the wheels fall off", as I recently heard from a friend.
How about you?

First Spring Outfit
I am never more inspired than when I'm flipping through the snapshots on Pinterest. I especially love the pics where the talented people have put together these genius outfits, complete with accessories. A lot of these outfits seemed to be coming from Polyvore, so I went there to create a free account.
This time, I was Pinspired by the picture below. You can see where each piece came from by clicking here.

Here's my teacher-friendly take on the outfit. You can click here to see where each of these items came from.
My personal items came from:
Black open cardigan, black/gray scarf, & Perfect Fit gray tank: Old Navy
Silver hoops: Forever 21
Poppy Skirt: Came from the Newport-News online, although I can't find it anymore! So bummed.
Still working on where to get the black slides/clogs.
I would love to hear any suggestions on where to get cheap black shoes like the ones above.
